“A fantastic night is made of design, smørrebrød, chocolate, porridge, a glove and a lot of guests. Last night seven Danish design brands were represented at the Danish Design Event 2016 arranged by the the Embassy of Denmark in Helsinki. Bang & Olufsen, Carl Hansen & Søn, Ege Tæpper, Fredericia Furniture, Le Klint, Louis Poulsen and Republic of Fritz Hansen showed their products.

The Danish designer Morten Grønning Nielsen was keynote speaker and he told about his project “Happaratus”, a power-glove that makes it possible to shape hard materials such as wood or stone with your hand. The yummy porridge was from Puurola and the chocolates from Anthon Berg. Thank you for all the participants for a great night!”
